Job Summary

Are you interested in working as an Accountant professional in e-Commerce? As an Accountant at PCOnline, you will gain invaluable business experience and the opportunity to hone your Accounting skills and support the company’s growth. We expect you to have strong skills in attention to detail, analytical thinking, and learning and research. The ideal candidate supports the CPA Accountant and forms strong partnerships throughout the organization. You will join our growing team responsible for Accounting reporting and documentation, learning and development, and teamwork and support. The base salary for this position is $4000-5000/month.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to:

Accounting Reporting and Documentations

  • Update month-end and year-end financial statements

  • Prepare various reports according to the company’s growth needs and timely deliver quality responses to teams’ questions

  • Support employee payroll to ensure completeness and accuracy

  • Reconcile accounts payable, receivable, and other accounts

  • Manage vendor/supplier payments and balances

  • Provide assistance for bookkeeping

Learning and Development

  • Learn and understand business operations and interprets data to prepare written analysis of the business transactions that drive financial statement results

  • Maintain supporting documentation for all aspects of job functions

  • Research, track and timely resolve outstanding reconciling items and related issues


Teamwork and Support

  • Provide accounting reports and documentation for various department

  • Demonstrate initiative to identify and propose process improvement opportunities in the areas of reporting, reconciliation, and analysis

  • Other duties may be assigned based on the growing needs


Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.

  • 1-3 years of working experience in Accounting Operation is required. The combination of years of education and work experience is acceptable for meeting the requirements.  

  • 1+ years of relevant financial statement preparation and analysis experience (Balance Sheet and Income Statement) is preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workplace is required.

  • Strong skills in attention to detail, analytical thinking, learning, and research are required.

  • Bilingual abilities in Mandarin Chinese and English are highly preferred.

  • Experience with the e-commerce industry is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of payroll and ADP is preferred.

  • CPA certification is preferred. 

  • We are open to accepting candidates with OPT/CPT.

  • We are open to providing support for the selected talent to pursue various certifications.

  • There is a three-month probationary period.
